Kate Playground Real Name

Good bye Thailand

February 25

not leave Bangkok 'was very difficult, the traffic is completely blocked in the morning almost made us miss the train but with a slight jog've got it minutes after fatta.10 we find that the departure of our tickets are not for sitting and a controller commands us to get up, send him to hell but I get up, say not before?

In 2 hours we Ayuttaya to where, just outside the station, rent-a rince motorinchio and leave for these famous ancient temples. Ruins apart in this city, which looks more like a small village, there 'nothing we rob the room (the pros and cons of eating in local real) and after a bit 'temples begin to look all the same, the humidity in asia and' crazy and you get tired much earlier. At 6 we give the Rinca and spend the remaining 3 hours in a room with two French, one of which is' a 30 year old chemistry teacher ...

Take the train that looks comfortable with an hour late and we move to Chiang Mai. The night train and 'another one of my first time, given the time we turn the seats into beds as soon as we get thus leaving no great options on what to do, I'll take the bed above, but a companion to Annie for the three minutes that separate from a deep coma, then I close my curtains and I start to read for a while '. The trains are not made in asia considering my height as an average and is a finite I spend more time awake than anything else.

Chang Mai and 'a different story compared to Bangkok, I can feel from the first moment, everything moves more slowly, and the air' breathing and, at least morning and evening, the temperature and 'liveable. After a dozen guest houses we take a room just outside the walls of the historic town, and this 'and that' the real capital of Thailand considered by many the jewel of the north and from all others.

The town itself is' beautiful, this is not 'a country that is striking for its architecture, but we can not complain, life as seen from the start and' something else, are all much more friendly and less oppressive you get in their taxi or sold a dress. Life here is' really easy. The first day we spend walking around the city 's all within the walls to enjoy a couple of ancient temples and orient a bit', I'm half dead and then we treat ourselves to a Thai massage and bed by 10.

February 26

Day cooking class, from 9:30 to 15 cook six dishes each, including a trip to the market to see all the vegetables, spices and fruit.
I cook pad thai as it finally did, the spring rolls lighter than Chinese, a red curry, a beef curry, a soup with coconut milk and fried bananas, when we go to 16 are dying from what I ate ... The evening usually thai massage and ride to the market but without drinking cmq you return home soon.

February 27

Third day scooter rental and tour the Temple of the Golden Buddha (which are almost all gold discovery), as the temple and 'on top of a mountain we decided to go down the other side through so a coffee plantation, the Thai government to combat the cultivation of opium plantations has funded more legal. A good coffee with a spectacular view we prepare for a descent of boarding. So

more wrong with the vehicle's history face the mountain for about 5km we do takes 1 hour and a half but in the end, after spending the exceptional scenery, we arrive at a lake where they give us to eat good fish in a sort of raft with the roof. In the evening we meet

Nivi and Steve who have just arrived, our travels continue to cross, we go to dinner on the river and then a ride to the market.
Sunday morning we decided to leave at 11, we go to breakfast early and decided to top up my skype to make some 'phone calls: pulling out his wallet to pay I see the lack of credit card, I need a few seconds to reconstruct what happened, yesterday I withdrew money market ATM but not waited for the paper and I left them, not drinking seems to me that do more harm than good, my run to the door and 'useless' s atm and 'out of service e i commessi del market non parlano in inglese, il mio thai si limita a tre parole e non sono quelle che mi potrebbero aiutare.

Partiamo con l'autobus delle 2 e per le 4.30 siamo a Chiang Rai (great originality 'names ...), with the city known as much for his little girl around that much, and the hotel that the Lonely Planet recommends that there is closed and so we end up in another, but they put the pool ; all for the ridiculous price of 200 baht per night (about 5 €).

February 28

The next day we rent a bike and head for adventure, a ride that takes us all day, I understand why advisable to take a bike, the holiday is completely different ... We run along the line that marks the border with Myanmar, also known as Burma or for those 5 or 6 that have a very good idea of \u200b\u200bthe geography of Burma;
soldiers who guard the border tell us to go quietly, but not to stop or take any pictures, harassing. Everything beautiful in the museum part of the opium and 'closed on Monday, since they hear from phi phi. Transition to the golden triangle meeting point of three boundaries and then back. From Chiang Rai we move towards the 24 Laos, 2 ½ hours to 70 km in a bus probably built by hand by villagers, then gitarella boat to cross the river and here we are to shell sti € 40 for a visa for 2 weeks, Laos does not begins with the right foot.

The little village where we spend the night waiting Nivi and Steve is not 'just a road, we choose the least worst guest house after a dinner at 6.30 and we're in bed at 9, the city and' deserted long ago. This place unpronounceable and 'a step down from here because it is the part that's Gibbon River. We wake with the roosters at 4:30 and closes an eye. At 9 we change our guest house and a neighbor's. Day more or less useless, there is the play meridian between us because there is nothing else to do waiting for the next day tomorrow Gibbon Experience!

Restoring An Old Hutch

Haidi Giuliani

"Today I feel the need for an organized party and be part of"
Gaggio in Adelaide Cristina Giuliani that Haidi (Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, May 11, 1944) is an Italian politics. Becomes a public figure after the murder of his son Carlo Giuliani in Genoa during the G8 summit in 2001.

---------------------------------
Berlusconi-Sarkozy summit.

Agreement Emma Bonino on nuclear power (Pr):

"and now who pays?"
(24.02.2009 21:08) to repeat this criterion in recent months, all politics, is not expedient to Italy.

And this not for ideological reasons but simply because they worked more than twenty billion € for a power generation complex in the Italian needs, not just electric, it can not represent more than 5% of the total cost is not expedient to our country, even taking into account the costs of decommissioning. Okay

the policy of "do", but do not do to: the costs are high, the long and the benefits are extremely low.

no coincidence that so very different are moving elsewhere, starting with the United States.

Also, I'd like to know chi paga, chi pagherà i costi finali di quest'operazione, che magari vedrà all'opera l'ennesima "cordata italiana" protetta e garantita dalla mano pubblica.

Chi pagherà, temo siano i soliti contribuenti.

Intanto a Parigi si stappa champagne": ironizza Emma Bonino.

24 Febbraio 2009
Quasi per caso nella vecchia posta ritrovo alcune foto scattate a Tulkarem, tre anni fa, when I went to watch the elections with boys and girls of the Young Communist League and we are in a group, smiling, someone holds the raised arm, his hand tight in a fist, a gesture of identity?

Much has happened in the past three years, the Social forum, which was our hope, born of the spirit of Genoa in 2001, have mostly melted like snow in the sun, some of those guys have gone "beyond", where I can not understand, and what is worse, I fear it is not clear even to themselves.

We are facing a serious economic crisis the result of twenty years of neoliberal policies that have precarious jobs, cut wages and increase the wealth of thieves and fraudsters. The factories are closing; workers continue to die.

There is no security for them.
likely to disappear the national labor contract, collective guarantees disappear ie wages and rights, won through many years of struggles. In return, reappear batons against the workers, Pomigliano, dell'Innse against workers in Milan.
There is no security for those who defend their territory, their children's lives: hard-line law enforcement against the No dal Molin in Vicenza, a city of art with military curfews. As in the Susa Valley, allegedly with the power to manage the peaceful protest of the inhabitants.
But the "great information" does not mention it. There
safe even for women in the streets of our cities and especially in the home, because there will certainly be more repressive laws, to defend them, but a more widespread culture, greater attention to the problems of individuals, greater participation in urban life.
"cult Ser es libre de ser el único way," recalled José Martí in the nineteenth century, but here the culture is humiliated every day, the impoverished public school: it is better not to raise young people able to think for themselves because they could a someday become truly free men and women. There is no longer even hope to die peacefully. In

return back to the racial laws.

witnessing daily coups against justice and civility: doctors turned into spies against the sick poor, so poor that they even have a document notarized patrols, investigate the affairs of lorsignori prohibited.
ordinary laws are voted in Parliament that the Constitution meaningless.
In this scenario the opposition sometimes chirps with the majority, sometimes stutters, what was once the social block of the left is crumbling.

And then I heard, I feel the need for an organized party, and part of it.
A party with clear ideas. Who knows his or her roots and knows even recognize their own mistakes; determined to be always on the side of those most vulnerable, exploited, robbed of their rights violated in body and in life. I want to be able to discuss in an organization with strong in-house and then declare openly what they think and work to achieve the objectives identified, able to intervene where it opens a conflict, and that when he decides to stand alongside large spontaneous movements , as small businesses, then do not abandon them; also able to expose the contradictions and to create new conflicts.
I want a party determined to awaken consciences, always willing to confront and work with other organizations, whenever you can, without bias, but no failure: a party with clear ideas, of course.

And I want my party to face the teacher and the school know.
must know before you listen to all boys and girls, do not promise easy political careers but by teaching both the theory as a rigorous daily practice.
it is true that many young people are disgusted by politics and think that it is worthwhile to act in a society like ours, but we must be able to demonstrate, as they say the Mothers of Argentina, who lost the only battle is the one who abandons .
We will succeed if we can be honest, if we put aside personalities, leaders ...

not climb a mountain, no one wins the top by yourself: you win all together, each with its own backpack, with its cargo of riches and error, but together.

Is It Dangerous To Use A Treadmill Upstairs

chiacchierata pubblica

Note Michele Finizio Yesterday at 20:45
now talk about politics everywhere.
the hairdresser, while comments from the day before the game, here is the bystander who intervenes to turn that throws in politics.
While you're at the bar, and discuss the last party of the country, comes the sacristan who throws insults at the council guilty of not granting a decent funding.

It speaks so much .. maybe because people are thirsty for real politics .. But the real political needs of real men, or "men of gold" (Plato docet!) who know how to give voice to the thoughts of greengrocers, butchers, etc.. with an orientation to overcome for the common good, with one foot in the abyss of the weakest and the other in the dream of a new world ..

Antonio Ruggiero at 21:39 on February 23, Michele
not believe Oscar was a misogynist.
If a man does exactly what a woman's expected of him, she did not think much will it should always do what's waiting for a woman and say what she can not understand ... Oscar Wilde
It 's true that many Instead of talking about a little 'of politics, but also a bit' of everything ... and many are sessossessi.

Michele Finizio at 21.40 on February 23
@ Anna, my note is a provocative as ever. And 'the bar is easier than talking about kaka rather than policy.

@ Maria Rosaria thank you for what your "one foot in the abyss of the weakest and the other in the dream of a new world." Beautiful

Bianca La Rocca at 22:29 on 23 February
do not know if we talk a lot or a little about politics. I know that if they talk, both inside and outside political parties, very bad. If you talk politics means talk about what is "public" and concerns the life of its own and the community have equal dignity and the comment about the price of zucchini, such as the Republic of Plato, the important thing is to draw the right consequences. Of course there are different responsibilities, but I'm sorry, I never believed in a society better than politics, it is only a more detailed than the first. It is good we go out, like the other one

Dieci discorsi sul welfare
------------
Ma dopo aver letto this book one is forced to question many beliefs. A hornet's nest of questions displayed a lively intellectual, with a language easy and immediate. The author brings into play
deeply held convictions and reverse logic of the so-called new cultural and political welfare. Again, the author argues, there is only renewed the age of a welfare system that is modern in form but in substance is old and obsolete. The author addresses issues of social market economy, democracy, participation and welfare policies from a totally reversed that opens unexplored tracks of study and analysis. In the book are original signs on the approach to territorial and social programming for a different culture of welfare. New culture and necessary to prevent the demolition of the old welfare state without building a new welfare state. A welfare state, "said the author" that uses the language (words) protection and the protection, care, needs and responses, which he calls "minor" children, a welfare system that is already through the words before the material produces, as produced, damaging practical effects. The author criticizes sharply the Third Sector organizations, social enterprises in particular, with an invitation to change approaches and policies. It is not enough to ask how the potential for wealth that is produced economic growth can be translated into social welfare, a better quality of life. The question is how the potential of social wealth that resides in the social dimension in civil or in the public sphere, it can translate into economic growth, especially in development. This is the challenge.

Free Sewing Pattern For A Dog Draught Excluder

Una citta' confusa

Bangkok. We've been here three days and I must say I'm not exactly satisfied, one of the advantages of traveling impreprati (and unorganized) and 'that although it has' no idea what to expect, at other times is fine otherwise, in any event no experience.
Where to start? The last post was published in Prachuap Khirikan, little fishing village that, apart from the first night when we were robbed half with the taxi and the hotel, and it 'revealed a pleasant and relaxing. The next morning we moved towards the center due to the shift given to us for 100 baht from an old lady with her scooter, then we took a room for less than half 'of our previous and rented a scooter, and from then on new life, away us to roam far and wide between markets, temples and marinas, we end up at lunch with a lady who was cooking fish but not to sell its (credo) colleghi, o cmq per qualcun altro, in ogni caso non ha voluto soldi e anche se non c'era nessuna comprensione tra le nostre lingue tutti sembravano contenti di averci lì.

I can break free of abusive and find a real taxi. We board a German and ask us if you can 'join the race, go to the same place, perfect!

arrive in Kao San Road at about 5, and this' zone of backpackers, and 'chock full of guest houses and does not take long to find accommodation, air conditioning and TV for 400 baht there' a bath no hot water but for the money ...
after a shower the world returns to be in color and we throw in the midst of the chaos in the area, including colorful T-shirts and elephant to do the show in the street, the hours pass quickly, we are in bed exhausted at 10.

One thing that we did not try and 'the bed, hard da non riuscire a dormire oltre le 6.30, quindi la giornata di sabato comincia presto. The lonely planet conferera 'my idea ...

The temples are very strange, construction relatively simple when compared to our church, and not particularly attractive because of the activity 'frenzied monks: a very important ritual and' take care of the temple and then repainted them constantly and colors are so bright that jar in the gray of the rest of the city ', it seems absurd but this is' my impression.

the evening a ride to the hotel for a shower and then taxi across the city 'to meet Nivi and Steve who have just arrived. Dinner and a walk in the red light district, a casino hallucinating to the point of having to escape.

Today

temples dedicated to serious, we visit the royal palace and its gardens, the Emerald Buddha and the gigantic reclining Buddha, 46 meters statue, then moist heat and fatigue we split the back legs and reach Nivi and Steve for some 'fresh. 5 to go to a hight tea at the Oriental hotel, I had never experienced anything like that, I felt like in a book by Wilde, with the sandwiches and pastries, scones with cream and cotted marmellatine refined, accompanied by a the 'selection, all in a film ... crazy. It 's crazy too but luckily the bill we are guests, the places we're seeing with Nivi and Steve are definitely out of the path of backpackers, but the beauty of not planning anything, and' this too ...

strange this city ', very dirty and polluted, with traffic, and hallucinatory unbearably hot, I would almost say that I do not like if it were not for its people, the Thai are very good, except for taxi drivers (the worst thing that cmq and lengthen the route or do you make a stop a stop in the shop of his cousin), are excellent people, but not understanding anything of what they say they have always smiling, laughing faces we do at the first taste of loro piccantissimi piatti ma poi ci regalano le verdure e l'acqua per salvarci il palato; sono contenti di farsi fotografare e si stringono per farti sedere al loro tavolo; insomma gente deliziosa.

How To Open Number Lock Suitcase

I was dead tired from a night of celebration spread to a number of transport is not exactly comfortable.
Yesterday we left Phi Phi Island is that is so cool, but it seemed to be in the stands; flooded by tourists whose only interest and 'get the photos on the beach to put in the living room. Take the ferry to travel the 9 hours of human, needless to say that any attempt to plan something and 'to be abandoned, cmq reach the bus station on time, use us for a while' as tennis balls from a ticket office and a ' other, but we can buy a ticket without being fleeced too much ($ 30 for second class cmq de bus) so we start at 12.30. The trip 'slow and awkward but the landscape outside the window is appreciated, too bad the sun sets at 18.30 and then not see anything ... The air conditioning but it freezes even survive this, and after only 11 hours of travel we arrived. Upon arrival we are in anything, and two white with a Lonely Planet in hand at 11.30 in the evening does not take long to attract the attention of taxi drivers. Dialogue and 'non-existent and the only thing that will come to understand and' hotels and Mein Ao (the area north of the city) not to say we load up two scooters and we travel, instead of 3 minutes I thought there are 15 comfortable and when we get all the hotels have closed the gates, drivers stick to the honking of motorbikes and soon a manager comes out very sleepy but still very nice.

How To Congratulate To A New Baby

Non sono babbo Natale

Oh oh oh!
the beach at the foot 'peers (who wants to go to the beach at Lignano
in July?) And go to visit the city, and' more of a
little town where the economy revolves solely around this strange
people keep asking stupid things but spends its money.
the true center has a few shops that are generally for the premises and is therefore
'pestered by taxi drivers in a nicely aggressive
give you a lift to the market or to see the Great Buddha (I
and' what is missed because the Lonely Planet does not mention it, but
think it's a sort of disguised antenna).
learn to decline the offer and we venture on foot all day,
morning and afternoon in Phuket Town to Patong (the true lignite), then between
cocktails in the local harley scooter and ride the day ends in
quickly. the room we booked and 'small but has everything
what we need, pity only that the air conditioning in the face terrible mess.
2 days after our arrival we set off for the trip to Phi Phi Island,
half-hour bus and ferry 2 hours enough for us to get to paradise, white beaches and a seaside postcard
shame that the whole world to know and is already here. One of the two islands '
the place where they filmed the beach and posters of Leonardo DiCaprio
are everywhere, and probably' the only country where memories
that movie.
Even here it seems to be a lignan especially because the number of Italian and
'remarkable, however, we find a place on the beach

not too crowded and stays there. The second day we embark
for a tour of both islands with snorkeling and lunch at the beach;
the fish we see are incredible and the monkeys on the beach free

Betty Crocker Pound Cake Mix Recipes

Australia arrivederci

Last week we went from Nivi and Steve, probably the most weeks' easy in my life. Wake up around 730 for a run from Clovelly Coogee with Chilli, Labradorina the black, though would prefer a quiet walk, you never back and runs for 40 minutes all that I ask every morning.
Then, on my return, garden shower and breakfast prepared by the angel of years, Steve has made his call for breakfast but it seems to me too angel. Then, quietly started its operation in 'the day that the Vatra prepare boxes to be shipped home, the sale of useless junk on ebay and readings on the sofa, all without too much stress, toward the end of the week we started to load a container with the things that Steve and Nivi leave in Oz during their seven months of traveling, all without ever cmq stress.
juggle everything between the last 6 or 7 minutes I was able to submit the forms for my Taxback and see when and where I will give back for the moment I do not know anything, I can only hope ...
Questra week as well as very relaxing and 'was excellent for dinner, we never ate at home every single night there was someone to greet party held by Sunday Nivi with more' than 20 guests, dinner show, as always, but mission "to finish the wine risrve" failure; Monday former heads of Annie + Sean, desperate party and 'got to the point of considering getting on a plane while to come to us, not that Australia has a lot of alternatives but it would seem a huge obstacle for him. Dinner Tuesday to Jazushi crazy, Japanese restaurant (can be easily guessed from the name) which offers live jazz, and I removed a few years we have a whim to live a little 'Sydney with a different spirit from that of two paid workers that we have done over the past months. Wednesday, Natasha and Jesse Glenn, usually bourbon drinks and dinner in Thai kings cross, simple but pleasant evening, and finally arrives on Thursday with dinner at the invitation of the Nivi Rise, another Japanese restaurant, but ... show, you can not 'say the least.
starting Friday and now Phuket but this' another story ... I'm tired and Australia and 'over, that stuff, but I got the other day??
